AMATEM SOFTGEL (Artemether/Lumefantrine) is indicated for the treatment of uncomplicated malaria caused by Plasmodium falciparum; contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to any component of the formulation; potential side effects include headache, dizziness, and gastrointestinal disturbances; and drug interactions may occur with medications that affect liver enzymes, such as certain antiretrovirals and anticonvulsants.
